In the course of the D-A-CH Kongress für Finanzinformationen (DKF) the financial data provider financial.com AG announced the development of the Crypto Hub. The Crypto Hub is to become a consolidated contact point for market, reference and master data of tokens. It will also be used to create professional user terminals for financial market data for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and others. The aim is to provide analysts and traders with all-encompassing data on cryptocurrencies.

The Crypto Hub enables the comparison of digital assets with regulated marketplaces, an ISIN-ITIN Cross Reference, integrated search by name, ITIN and ISIN, a screener that enables selection based on the ITC and other functions. financial.com cooperates with the International Token Standardization Association (ITSA) e.V. and other founding members, Blocksize Capital and Crypto Tax.

ITSA supports the project with the International Token Identification Number (ITIN) and the International Token Classification (ITC). The ITIN is an openly accessible standard for the unique identification of cryptographic tokens. The ITC is a framework used to classify cryptographic tokens in different dimensions. Through this multidimensional approach, the ITC framework allows the different properties and characteristics of the tokens to be worked out. The ITIN is used for reference and master data of the crypto assets as well as for reference and master data of all instruments connected to the ISIN.

Alexis Eisenhofer, CEO at financial.com, is convinced: “Cryptographic tokens such as the so-called cryptocurrencies and investment tokens are becoming increasingly important. With the Crypto Hub we are expanding our offer to professional investors who want to open up this new market”.
